ANTI-TRUST
The ASA NSC 2019 shall be conducted in accordance with the relevant competition and anti-trust laws.

Attendees shall not enter into any discussion, activity or conduct that may infringe any applicable law.

Attendees are reminded not to, directly or indirectly, engage in anti-competitive conduct, including: price fixing; restrictive covenants; misuse of market power such as predatory pricing; exclusive dealing; resale price maintenance; or any other conduct which substantially lessens competition.

This applies not only to discussions at the congress but also to informal discussions before and during the congress. Should the congress discuss matters that are considered to be breach of competition law, the Organising Committee will close the meeting.

CATERING
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be available during the congress in the exhibition area and is included in your registration fee.

CONDITIONS
International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd reserves the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd deems to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.

CONGRESS SATCHEL
Each registered delegate will receive a congress satchel at the time of registration.

CURRENCY
All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

DELEGATE LIST
An attendee list will be supplied to all attendees including exhibitors and partners. If you do not wish to have your details on the delegate list please ensure you indicate this on your registration form. [back to top]

GST INFORMATION
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a broad-based ten percent tax included in the shelf price of most Australian goods and services. The Tourist Refund Scheme allows international travellers to claim a GST refund (subject to certain conditions) on goods purchased in Australia. The refund only applies to items worn or goods taken on board as hand luggage when leaving the country.

IMMIGRATION INFORMATION
Travellers to Australia need a valid passport or similar certificate of identification. Everyone, except travellers with Australian and New Zealand passports, requires a visa. You may ask your travel agent for advice or to have them organise your visa.

INSURANCE
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Australian Society of Anaesthetists nor International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the congress or for theft or damage to belongings. LIABILITY
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates.

NAME BADGES AND LANYARDS
Name badges will be issued when registering at the congress. For security purposes the congress name badge must be worn at all times during the congress and social functions. Entry may be denied if no name badge is displayed. [back to top]

International Conferences & Events (ICE) Pty Ltd will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the congress. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. [back to top]
